Melanie Shults graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Sociology. She spent over 25 years working in the corporate sector in both Organizational Change Management, leading organizations in adapting to and embracing culture and technology changes, and in Information Security, helping organizations to build security mindsets and cultures to keep company information and systems secure. Throughout this time, she cultivated her passion for interior design in both her personal living spaces as well as assisting friends and neighbors in designing spaces in their own homes. In 2022, she left her corporate job to pursue interior design full time and attend interior design courses at Arapahoe Community College.
While she has achieved much success in business and in life, she has also faced many personal challenges. She has used her innate strength, resiliency, and courage to continue to propel her forward. She has a unique blend of business experience and acumen, natural talent for design, and a keen understanding of both human psychology and spirituality, which enable her to effectively run her own business and create soul-centered interior designs that uplift and inspire. She is the mother of two sons as well as two dogs, two cats, and a tortoise. She recently moved from Colorado to Daytona Beach, FL with her husband Zane. In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the beach, writing poetry, paddleboarding, yoga, meditation, dancing, singing, tennis, golf and attending live music concerts.
